Why doesn't DEWALT use LED bulbs in its lighting products?

LEDs are efficient and offer many options for light - however at this time we have not found an option that meets our user's requirements for Cordless Flashlights.

DEWALT uses Xenon for our Cordless Flexible flood lights and pivot head flashlights as well as fluorescent bulbs for our area lights. We do not use halogen due to high heat and high amp draw which leads to poor run-time.
